Description


STG, Inc. has an immediate opportunity as a Web Application Developer located in Ft. Huachuca, AZ! This position will support NETCOM G-6 providing cutting edge services and tools to the United States Army.


Minimum Qualifications:



+ HS + 6 years of Information Technology (IT) experience or AA/AS + 4 or BA/BS +2


+ Must have IAT II certification (GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) or equivalent prior to hire


+ Foundations of Incident Management Training (fedVTE) w/in 180 days of hire


+ Active Secret Security Clearance


+ Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations



Preferred Qualifications:



+ Experience designing applications, developing, operating and maintaining portals, web sites and applications on an enterprise scale.


+ Web software development utilizing C#, ASP.NET, Java, Java Script, PHP, XMLO, JSON, JQuery, SQL, HTML.


+ Experienced both SharePoint and Non SharePoint environments


+ Experience with tools such as, Fortify, Quest WebParts, Dell QuickApps, Nintex, Microsoft ASP.NET, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other third-party Government provided technologies.


+ Ensure application configuration compliance with DoD and Army regulations DISA STIGs and IAVAs


+ Support existing developers and provide enterprise support for the Army in a fast paced and demanding environment


+ Build and configure web applications in support of highly visible mission areas


+ Assist system administrators/developers with issues and effectively troubleshoot and document complex technical problems


+ Provision, secure, operate, maintain, troubleshoot web assets and resources


+ Document technical troubleshooting efforts in ticketing system and Knowledge Management Systems


+ Work independently and as a team member; set priorities and organize work to meet deadline


+ Follow organizational processes and polices


+ Provide technical leadership and mentor team members and colleagues


+ Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities


+ Interact with customer representatives on highly advanced technical issues


+ Compose and deliver reports and presentations of the highest professional quality.


+ Recommends technologies to accomplish long-term objectives


+ Develops concepts, products, or technologies that extend knowledge in fields of expertise


+ Exhibits exceptional ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness


+ Explains and presents high-level technical subjects and processes related to assignments


+ Acts independently on technical matters pertaining to assigned field and related disciplines


+ Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision


+ Communicate effectively with team members and team lead


+ Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary


+ Participate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours support


+ Perform other duties as assigned
